Hi I'm Joe Dye

I am 18 years old. playing hockey, going on a mission to Wichita, Kansas. I am a Mormon

About Me

I have 5 siblings. I am the third oldest child. I played hockey with my older brother in high school. All of the children in my family were adopted. i am 6'3 and skinny. i love to ski, golf, hike, camp, and ride my skateboard. I want to go to college to get an MBA and eventually become a commercial airline pilot. i am also planning on joining the Air Force to be a pilot

Why I am a Mormon

my parents are LDS and I grew up learning the things they knew and growing my testimony from the example that they put forth for me. I love this church and want to be a part of it for my whole life

How I live my faith

I love attending church on a weekly basis as well as attending mutual activities even though I am not a priest any more. I have been a deacons quorum president and in the teachers quorum presidency and was the secretary in the priests quorum. I am going to be leaving for a mission on Oct 30 2013 for the Wichita Kansas mission. I want to be able to be married in the temple for time and all eternity

What is the Church’s position on abortion?

Joe Dye
i believe that abortion is equal to murder. because when you make the choice to have sexual relations with another person, you know you are taking the risk of getting pregnant. you know full well what you are doing and you need to be responsible for that choice. if something happens and either you get pregnant or you get someone pregnant you need to be able to step up and either take care of the baby or place it for adoption. that baby is a person just like all of us. it needs the chance to come forth on the world and do its work for heavenly father and taking that chance away from it is just like murder. you are killing a person who otherwise could grow up and get married and have a family and a happy life and you are taking that opportunity away from them Show more Show less
