Hi I'm Hayden

I grew up in Utah. I'm currently a full time missionary called to serve in the Texas McAllen mission.

About Me

I love to love others! And find complete and total happiness in serving, and spreading His Gospel

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church. When I was younger (about 4-10 years old), like a lot of children, I did not really like going to church. But my parents kept me in line and when I was in the 9th grade I enrolled in my school's seminary program. To be honest... I actually wasn't sure if the church was true. I really struggled with believing in the Bible. I had a theory it was just a book written by some guy to make everyone feel good when people die, like there's still hope. It wasn't until our lesson in seminary where my teacher shared a scripture Moroni 10:3-5, It is basically saying if you have a real question and want to know the truth for yourself, pray with a sincere heart, real intent, and have faith in Christ, and he will manifest the truth of it unto you through the Holy Ghost. That same night I prayed to know if the church was true for myself and I have never prayed so sincere and deep in my life. And I didn't receive my answer instantly.. but when I woke up the next morning it was there. I had the most real feeling in my head, heart, and in my chest that this is the true church, I felt I had known it all along and this was my assurance of it, and that with no doubt in my mind I know this church is true. I am so grateful for the Holy Ghost and for Heavenly Father's plan.

How I live my faith

I do my absolute best to live the way Heavenly Father wants. I definitely struggle just like the rest of the world, but that is why I strive so much to be like Him! Because I know that is what he wants, and he wants the best for me. I love to share my testimony when I get the chance, and I am so excited to serve the Lord for 2 years.
