Hi I'm Sabrina

I love languages, travelling and nachos. I'm a mormon.

About Me

I'm a first year college student at Brigham Young University- Idaho. I have lived in Belgium, Mexico, and the United States. I speak French, English and Spanish. I have been a member of the church my entire life. I love to meet new people.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a mormon because of the joy it brings into my life.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by sticking to my standards and trying to be my best every day. I had a time in my life when it was really hard for me to stay strong in the gospel because of peer pressure and other influences. After wonderful church meetings and a lot of dedication, I was able to gain my own testimony and realize how much the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints helps me every day.

Why is family so important to Mormons?

Families are very important in the church because we know that God has placed us into them to learn, grow and become better. I know that I am the person I am today because of the things my parents have taught me. I will be forever grateful to have my family by my side to support me in all I do. I know that family is essential to returning to my Heavenly Father again one day. Show more Show less

What is the Atonement of Jesus Christ? Why was it necessary for Jesus Christ to sacrifice His life?

The Atonement is the most important aspect of our gospel. Christ suffered for all mankind in the Garden of Gethsemane to atone for our sins. It is only through God's grace that we can return to live with Him. Through Christ's grace we have the ability to turn our weaknesses into strengths. We have the power to make ourselves the best we can be. As we work toward perfection, we partake of the blessings of the Atonement to renew and clean ourselves. I know that without grace we would't be able to receive the blessing we do and that we wouldn't be able to live with our Heavenly Father again someday. Show more Show less
