Hi I'm Jordan

I live in Utah. I love science. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I recently graduated high school. I love to be outside, especially in the winter. I love to play tennis and frisbee, and I love skiing. I worked at a pool and I love to swim. I like a lot of board games. I am in a great family and love to play tons of games with them. I love guitar, I've been playing it for five years. I love comedy, especially Improv comedy, or acting out skits without any script right off the top of your head.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know how much it is true. I live it because I know how much love God has for me. I have never had a day that He has not helped me and blessed me in some way. I know that the Book of Mormon is true and that it testifies of a real people who knew the same thing that I know, and I know that I can learn so much from its teachings. I know that God's love does not just extend to some people, but it extends to everybody, no matter who they are or what they have done. I live this faith because it is the only place that I can receive the perfect truth about who I am and where I am going.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by serving other people whenever I can, and look for service projects that I can do both in school and otherwise. I try and be friendly to people that I meet at school or just about anywhere else, especially people I notice seem to be having a bad day. I use clean language that helps people be happy that day. I don't let who I am with have an effect on me, I am the same person with my friends as I am with my family or anybody else. I try to help other people before myself in whatever I can.

What is Mormonism? OR What do Mormons believe?

Jordan
Mormonism is the belief in the restoration of the full and complete gospel of Christ, which we believe was lost after His Apostles died. It is the belief that Jesus Christ began this restoration through the Prophet Joseph Smith, and that the Book of Mormon contains the rest of the fullness of the gospel that was lost. Mormons believe that all people can be saved through Christ. Show more Show less

Do Mormons only help Mormons?

Jordan
Mormons do not only help other Mormons, but they help anybody who they can. Mormons believe in helping everybody, no matter who they are or what their religion is, if they even have one. Mormons often help people recover from natural disasters or crises wherever they can. Show more Show less
