Hi I'm Jenalyn

I'm a world traveler and backpacker. I'm studying to be a chemical engineer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a daughter, a sister, a student. I am a lover of life, an aficionado of laughter. I am an admirer of peoples, cultures, and the majesty of the world. I am an awe-struck learner. I am a budding backpacker and an interested world-traveler. I am a listener. I am a disciplined scholar -- and a most dedicated sleeper. I am a baker -- sometimes even at 2 o'clock in the morning. I am a builder of blanket forts and a friend. I am full-time missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I am successful. I am persistent. I am happy. And I'm a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because of the tender mercies of the Lord. I have felt Him wrap his arm around my shoulder when I felt alone; I have felt the incredible testifying power of the Spirit whispering to me the truthfulness of all things. I do not know everything. But I do know somethings. I know that Christ lives, that He is my Savior, and that He loved me enough to give his life so that I could be with him again. I know that there are true prophets on the earth today who are authorized of God to lead and guide this church, who can strengthen and fortify us, even in these challenging times. I know that the family is ordained of God, that the family unit is sacred and precious to Him and can bring us so much happiness.

How I live my faith

I live my faith in the little things. By choosing to let go of my doubts and let my faith work miracles. By choosing to take out a minute of my busy day to give someone I love a hug. By writing a note or giving a smile. By not letting that person who cut me off get the better of me. By choosing to be the daughter of God who I know I am, and by standing by Him and his principles.
