Hi I'm Brad

I grew up in California. I'm an Eagle Scout. I am a brother. I'm a diligent student. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 19 years old. I'm an eagle scout. I am leaving on my mission to Monterrey, Mexico next February and I am really excited. I enjoy playing basketball, dancing and occasionally playing chess. I also like to play video games when I have time. I am currently going to college and I am thinking about transferring to BYU when I get back.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a member my entire life and it has been wonderful. I couldn't imagine not having the gospel in my life which sometimes makes it difficult for me to appreciate or notice the blessings that I receive. For about a year I have been preparing to go on a mission by reading the Book of Mormon and the four Gospels. I have also been practicing the first lesson and memorizing some important scriptures. I've also found myself praying more. I have grown so much this year and I can honestly say that I know the Book of Mormon is true and that there is a plan of salvation, and God is our loving Heavenly Father.

How I live my faith

I have the responsibility to help clean up the church when all of the wards are done with the building. I am also a ward missionary in the singles' ward which means I try to make people feel welcome in our ward. It also means I visit inactive members to try to remind them of the fellowship they had in the ward.
