Hi I'm Quinton Burdette

I'm a sucker for a nice sandwich, I can't touch my toes, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Born and raised in the amazing state of Washington in a perfect sized city called Puyallup. I have amazing parents and two older brothers who have taught me so much. I just recently returned home from serving in the Uganda Kampala Mission and it was one of the greatest experiences of my life so far. I am or will be again, a student at Utah Valley University. I love to hike, boat, camp, and pretty much anything else like that! I can watch good movies all day long though I enjoy staying active and going to the gym. I have a boss little nephew named Beckham and another nephew on the way. I love learning about other cultures, trying their foods and learning small phrases in other languages. Most of all, I love the Savior and His Gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a "Mormon" or a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints simply because it is true. I have found absolute truth in the Restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. He does guide us today as in times of old. My family and I are sealed by the priesthood and will live with one another in the eternities. I have the privilege to bare the Holy Priesthood of God and that responsibility has taught me so much. I have seen miracles performed under the direction of this Priesthood. Daily I am becoming more and more like the man I want to be and more importantly the man that my Father in Heaven wants me to be. Pure joy actually does exist and how privileged I am to have found the true Gospel of Jesus Christ to provide that pure joy in my life. Serving as a Missionary has solidified my testimony by being able to witness others receive these very same blessings and answers through sincere prayer and living the commandments!

How I live my faith

Serving a mission was one of the greatest experiences of my life and has taught me what I need to do to endure to the end. By fulfilling my callings, striving to study the gospel by reading my scriptures and praying daily. At the end of the day, if the people I meet are influenced to be a better person for having met me, it is then that I am truly living my faith and that is what I strive to do daily!

What blessings can you receive from reading the Book of Mormon, the Bible, and other scriptures?

Quinton Burdette
I received my testimony of our Savior Jesus Christ through the Book of Mormon and it's powerful testimony of Him. Before, my belief in Christ was exactly that, a belief. But now I can honestly say to myself that I know, without any doubt, that Christ is a real person, He lives, and His atonement is an actual power that can heal and enable us. That testimony has grown so much as I have been serving a mission and studying The Book of Mormon, the Holy Bible and other scriptures daily. The Answers to your questions will be answered as you sincerely and prayerfully search for them in the scriptures that our Father in Heaven has given us today. I am a living witness that reading the scriptures also will change your attitude and behavior if you are willing to abide by the precepts within and see the evidence (or blessings) from doing so!
