Hi I'm Kristee

I love spending time outdoors, playing the piano, and laughing! I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Utah, and I am the fifth child of six in my family. My family means everything to me! I love camping, fourwheeling, rollerblading, snowboarding, and playing almost any sport. I simply love spending time outdoors-the beauties of mountains, rivers, sunrises, stars, and waterfalls are creations I couldn't live without! I also love to play the piano. Creating my own music is a common way I spend my free time. Along with these hobbies, I am a huge advocate of life-long learning! I love to learn. Education is extremely important to me, and I have found a sense of accomplishment in my school studies. I recently graduated as a Registered Nurse and couldn't be more happy about it. Above all, I love laughing! While participating in any activity, whether at home, school, or work, it's so much better when something is funny!

Why I am a Mormon

The happiness this church brings to me is something I can't imagine my life without. I have learned the truthfulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ by living it. I have studied the Book of Mormon. I have prayed to God, our Heavenly Father, to know if the Book of Mormon is true. I have received an answer to my prayers that this is the true church. It contains the fulness of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Because I know the Book of Mormon truly is the word of God, I also know that Joseph Smith translated the Book of Mormon and was a true Prophet. I know we have a living Prophet on earth today, President Thomas S. Monson. He receives revelation from God to help lead and guide this church. As I have tried my very best to live by the precepts of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, I have been filled with the sweetest joy. I know that the joy I feel has been made possible by the Atonement of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ truly did suffer and die for us that we may all live again. Through Christ's sufferings for us, it has been made possible for us to repent and change our lives for the better. Jesus Christ is the Son of God. God, our Heavenly Father, loves all of us so much. We are His children. He wants the best for all of us. When we choose to follow the example of Jesus Christ, He can bless us with the help, the comfort, the peace, and the exquisite joy the we individually search for in our lives. I know these things are true! I know it with all my heart. I know it, because I have experienced it. I have had very trying times in my life, but because of my Savior, Jesus Christ, I have been able to find peace in times of trial. These blessings of peace, joy, comfort, love, and sense of belonging are available to anyone and everyone who chooses to come unto Christ. Again, I know this church is true, and I love it!

How I live my faith

It is the small and simple acts of my daily life that represent how I live my faith. Daily prayer and scripture study are two of the most simple, yet rewarding acts. I try my very best to live my life in a manner that would be pleasing to our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ. Studying the scriptures and praying help give me the strength to be a strong, righteous daughter of God. My daily goal is to serve others in anyway I can; never speaking unkindly about anyone; and keep the commandments of God. Another way I live my faith is by serving in my ward. I am apart of a presidency that is responsible to look after and care for the women in my ward. I seek to fulfill this calling by showing the the women how much I love and care for them. Again, it is the small and simple acts of kindness that I feel work best to show my love and care for them. I try to be a reliable friend to everyone.
