Hi I'm Neal Thomas

I love music, and I am a Mormon.

About Me

In high school, I participated in a lot of performing arts. I was in quite a few plays and musicals, and I was also in choir and band. My interest rest mostly in music and science, though I am also a very active parson and will participate in rock climbing, parkour, and other such activities. I plan on becoming a Bee Keeper and majoring in Entomology in College, (what can I say, I find insects a fascinating part of God's creations). I am the 5th child in a family of 12 children, and I love it. I am currently serving my mission and look forward to the opportunities I will have to serve God and to serve his children upon this earth over the next few years.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the feelings I have received and the love I have felt. Through out my relatively short life, I have often prayed to know if what I have been taught all of my life is true. After all of my prayers and many times searching and thinking and pondering, and after hearing the testimony of others, I have been filled with feelings of love and joy, feelings I can only begin to describe. Something inside of me felt that not only were the doctrines and principles of The Church of Jesus Christ of latter day Saints true, but also, I felt something deeper than that. I felt the arms of my Savior surround me, I felt my Heavenly Father, reaching out to me with all of the love that a parent can give a child. Plain and simple, I had my Father in Heaven calling for his child to come unto him, and I had the spirit of the Lord testify to me that I am truly a child of God, and that this church is his church, restored upon the earth.

How I live my faith

At church I participate in the Choir, along with most of my family. I am also asked to teach lessons in church from time to time. It is also a pleasure to participate in events like Institute (scripture study) ans get together such as Chili cook off's. The greatest joy I get from it all, however, is bring friends to church with me, spending time with them and with good people and learning as much as I can about my loving Father in Heaven, and my Lord and Redeemer, Jesus Christ. Now, I am serving a mission, and doing all that I can to help God's children and invite them to come unto Christ.
