Hi I'm Megan Fields

I grew up in Texas. I'm studying Advertising at Brigham Young University. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a full time wife, full time student, and a part time social media intern. I'm a die hard apple fan girl and social media guru and have an account on just about every site ever created. My favorite thing in the world is traveling and some of my best memories are bargain shopping on the streets of Tijuana and Morocco, and waiting for the ball to drop on New Year's Eve in New York City. I love learning about other cultures and using their diversity to help me think creatively. Things don't interest me, people do. I have a passion for people and learning as much as I can from those around me. I strongly believe that kindness will get you everywhere. If I were a season, I would be Fall. If I were a music genre, I would be country.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the gospel, and therefore have been a Mormon my whole life. I am a Mormon because I know that the Book of Mormon is true. I have read it and know for a fact that it is another testament of Jesus Christ along with the Bible. I have had many different spiritual moments where the Lord has testified of its truth to me. I know that families can be together forever. I know that Joseph Smith restored the gospel on the Earth today, and that the teachings and doctrine of this church are pure and true. I know that we have a living prophet on Earth today, and that Thomas S. Monson and his apostles are men called of God to lead this church and give guidance to its members. I am a Mormon because it brings so much peace and happiness to my life. I know that I have a Savior who lives and loves me, and I am so thankful for the atonement and its ability to cleanse men on Earth. I am thankful for the Plan of Salvation and the knowledge that there is more than just this life, and that if I follow the commandments I can return to my Father in Heaven and remain in his presence with my loved ones forever. I know that there is true power in prayer, and that the challenges we are given in this life are there to test and try us so that we can grow and become stronger. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because I know the gospel, I live the gospel, and I love the gospel. I'm a Mormon. I know it, I live it, I love it.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by actively attending all of my church meetings and getting to know those around me. I pray and read my scriptures on a regular basis so that I can stay close to my Savior and use his guidance in my life. I am on the Welcoming Committee in my church ward, and am able to get to know new women in the ward and reach out to them through this calling. I am a visiting teacher and visit two girls once a month to share a message from the gospel with them, see how they are doing, and be a friend to them. I partake of the sacrament every week in church so that I can renew my covenants with the Lord and repent of my everyday sins. I go to the temple once a month to worship and find peace as I serve the Lord in His house.
