Hi I'm Zac

I grew up in Idaho. I play the piano. I am a missionary. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I graduated from high school in 2012. One of my favorite classes was Musical Theatre. I loved being up on the stage acting and being with other members of the class. (I wasn't so big on the singing part). I am currently on a mission for the Church in the New Hampshire Manchester Mission. I love being able to share the Gospel and God's love with the people that I meet on the streets here in New England.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I have felt God's love for me and for the people that live around me. I know that because God wants to help us succeed in our lives, all we have to do is as for His help and strength and we can receive the guidance and support that we need. Whenever I share my testimony of the truthfulness of the Gospel and how going to church has helped me, I can feel the love that God has for the person that I am talking to. No matter who you are or what you have done in you life, God loves you. He knows your potential and wants to help you reach your potential. He has given us tools in our lives, (such as the Church, it's leaders,) so that we can achieve our potential in lives and be happy here in our lives.

How I live my faith

I live my faith now by serving a full-time mission. The Gospel is very dear to me and I want everyone to be able to gain the happiness and joy that I have received from living with the Gospel in my life. After my mission, I'm going to continue to live my faith by sharing the Gospel with friends and co-workers that I have. I'm going to be active in my calling that I receive and help those around me to come closer to Christ.

Why do Mormons baptize their new members?

Zac
Baptism is a saving ordinance. By being baptized by proper authority, we make a promise to our Heavenly Father that we will take Christ's name upon us and to follow Him and all of His commandments. In return, God forgives us of our sins and gives us the opportunity to return to live with Him as long as we keep our part of the covenant, or promise, that we made. God can't allow any unclean thing to dwell with Him and Baptism is how we wash away our uncleanliness. And since we as a church want everyone to be able to return to live with God, we baptize all new members so that they can have that opportunity. Show more Show less
