Hi I'm Chantelle Ashby Goudie

I grew up in Murray, Utah. I love piano, singing, and dancing. I'm a Mormon serving in the Little Rock Mission.

About Me

I love to perform on the stage! All through high school and college I was in performing choirs. I teach voice and piano and love my students. I have graduated with my associates degree. I love to vacation, camp, hike, do boating, ping pong, tap dance, play piano and sing.

Why I am a Mormon

I have chosen to be a member of this church because it makes me happy :) The blessings that come from following the commandments are awesome. I know this is Christ's church on the Earth today and that it is true! I know that God lives and loves each and everyone of us. Christ knows exactly what we are going through and can help us get through anything. I know that our trials make us stronger. I know that the scriptures are true and you can find almost any answer in them. I know that Thomas. S. Monson is the President of this church and is called by God to speak to His children. I love this gospel and am so grateful to be a member. I know the Atonement is real and that through it, we can return to live with our Heavenly Father. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of the World. I have seen the joy this gospel has brought me and I know it has been restored through Joseph Smith.

How I live my faith

I love serving others and being around people. I worked with the Special Needs mutual and loved hanging out with them and being around their sweet spirits! I have done a service mission in the Philippines and grew to love the people there. I took care of my 96 year old grandpa once a week for the last year and grew to love him so much and learned so much from serving him.

What is faith?

Chantelle Ashby Goudie
Faith to me is the ability to trust in God and know that he will help you. But not only do you have to trust in him, you have to act on the answers that you will receive when you pray in faith. If you don't act on what you receive, your faith is dead. It is like a seed. If you plant a seed and water it, it will grow. If you plant a seed and just let it sit there, nothing will happen. So it is with faith. Everything in the gospel starts with faith. Once you have faith you have the desire to follow Christ more be repenting, being baptized, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and enduring to the end. Show more Show less
