Hi I'm Erin

I lived in Japan and Thailand. I love animals, especially horses and dogs. I'm a missionary and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I went to elementary and junior high school in Japan and Thailand. I have traveled in Asia and Europe. I am a Utah State Aggie. I got called to an 18 month mission in Riverside California. I love to trail run in the mountains behind my house. I love to play volleyball and basketball with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church, but as I have grown I came to find for myself that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints is the true church. I love what this church teaches such as how families are important and central to our happiness. I believe that there is a prophet on the earth today and that through him the Lord speaks to us. I believe in the Book of Mormon and the Bible and I know that if we follow the teachings in them that we can become closer to our Heavenly Father. I believe that Heavenly Father loves us and knows us and that he truly wants us to come back to live with him in heaven. The gospel has been a solid rock in my life and I know that it can be a great comfort to all of us in hard times.

How I live my faith

I helped to teach an Activity Days class for 8 to 11 year old girls in my ward and I loved it. I got a chance to meet the younger girls in the ward and learn and grow in my knowledge of the gospel as I helped teach them. Once every year our ward has a big service day where we all get a chance to go out and work together with others in the community and ward. Whether we are doing yard work, cleaning garbage off the roads or just visiting the elderly it makes me feel good be able to participate in these activities that bring us all closer together.
