Hi I'm Joe

I grew in the cornfields of Central Illinois. I love to run, bike, and do just anything else outdoors and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I grew up in an LDS family in the great state of Illinois! I love the Midwest! I am the third of four children. My entire life I have loved to be active. My Freshman year of high school I decided to try track and have fallen in love ever since. I now have been blessed to run both cross country and track collegiality. I also love to learn. I am going to college to pursue a degree and career in marketing. For now though, I have decided to put it all off for two years to serve the Lord and the people of The Great Kentucky Louisville Mission!

Why I am a Mormon

The entire reason I am a Mormon is because I have both read and prayed about the Book of Mormon. As a youth I knew that if I was going to continue in this faith and eventually go on to serve a mission I needed to make sure that it was the truth. As I read and prayed I came to an overwhelming sense of peace and comfort. From that point on I knew that I knew that I was in the right place and on the right path.

How I live my faith

I grew in an area that did not have a very large LDS population, which I have seen as a huge blessing. I have always been able to be an example of Christ to those around me, though I still often make mistakes. As a youth I was also blessed to be able to serve in many leadership assignments in the church. I currently am serving as a full-time missionary for the Church in Kentucky.
