Hi I'm Eric

I'm half Ecuadorian. I love to dance and play basketball. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am currently serving as a missionary in the Washington Spokane mission. It's sweet! I enjoy listening to music. I love singing and can play the guitar and the piano. My favorite thing to do is playing basketball. I enjoy being active and going on hikes. I will dance to anything, anywhere. I am definitely a city boy. It's my dream to live in Utah. I am half Ecuadorian but can only speak a little bit of Spanish. It's my dream to own my own Taco Bell restaurant one day.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in this church. I have grown up hearing all about this church and I went along with it and never really questioned it too much until the end of high school. I never stopped going to church but halfway through high school I stopped praying and reading the scriptures. I lost my testimony and felt I had no purpose. I even questioned heavily if God was even there or if he even cared. I reached an all time low. I started to pray very earnestly to feel true happiness again in my life. I felt like the prodigal son who "came to himself" and I felt an answer come to my heart that I wasn't truly happy because I wasn't living the Gospel, and God wanted me to start now. And so I have striven to be an active disciple of Christ ever since and I am happy. I know that the little things go a long way in our conversion and our happiness. I know that nothing on this earth can make me feel Christ's love more than this church can.

How I live my faith

I try to live my faith by being the best I can be at all times. I think being a true disciple of Christ is not so much about the big things, but more about the little everyday decisions we make. Not that the big decisions are not good, but we are faced with more little things in life that make up who we truly are. I am serving a 2 year mission and definitely believe in having fun while serving.
