Hi I'm Madison

I love to travel, to paint, to spend time with my family and now I've been called to be a missionary in Canada.

About Me

I was born in California and had lived there up until it was time for college, when I then moved to Utah. I'm a full time college student now, working towards a degree in Graphic Design. I love painting and drawing and reading and writing, and especially playing around with computers and hopefully one day being able to turn all these hobbies into a career. But for now that will have to wait because I've recently been called to serve a mission in Canada and I couldn't be more excited for that opportunity.

Why I am a Mormon

My father is a 5th generation Mormon and my mother was a convert to the church at the age of 19. I've heard and seen the testimony of what it's like to have had the church around you your whole live and I've heard and seen the testimony of what it's like to not have the gospel in your life and then to find that gospel and the difference it can make. I was born into this gospel and I couldn't imagine what my life would be like without it, even though I've heard plenty of stories about that from my mom. The teachings of this church and the Book of Mormon have always made sense to me. I am a daughter of God and God has made the Plan of Happiness for us. We can be families for all eternity. Those are just a couple of things that this gospel has for us and why I love this church and know it's true. Nothing else makes as much sense except for this restored gospel of Jesus Christ that we have because of our prophet Joseph Smith. I'm blessed to be apart of this church and can not wait to be a missionary in Canada and to be a member missionary for the rest of forever.

How I live my faith

I always try and be the best example I can be to my family and to all those around be. I participate in all ward and stake activities and try and help in any way I can to get involved in service. I live my faith as I begin to prepare to serve the Lord in Canada and bring knowledge of the gospel to those who have not had the chance to receive it yet. As I study the Book of Mormon and gain a firm testimony of the restored gospel, I hope to be able to show by example what the Gospel can do for us, to all those who are willing to listen.
