Hi I'm Caleb

I grew up in the United States. I am going to college to major in Computer Science. I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am currently studying in college majoring in geography. I like to play video games, read about history and learn as much as I can. There is very little that I would not like to know more about. One thing I really love to learn about are people, all different kinds. One of the reasons I am majoring in geography is to be able to learn about as many different types of people as I can and I would love to meet as many of them as I can. Though I am barely an adult right now I would love to be able to go a lot of different places to meet as many people as I can.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into this church but there comes a time in the life of every person who was born a Mormon that they must decide for themselves whether it is true or not. I cannot point to a time that I first came to know it was true but I found that when I first sincerely asked the question of myself, I already knew it. Living by the teachings of this church and exercising a belief that it might be true, in other words the faith I had, convinced me that it was true by the feelings and impressions I had. I know that this church is true, that the Book of Mormon is true, and that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and even on my worst most awful day, I cannot deny it.

How I live my faith

My faith and participating in my church means a lot in my life. I wouldn't be the same person I am today without it. I would almost certainly not be as happy as I am today without it. the most important way I have lived my faith is by serving others both those of my faith and those of other faiths. I have served as leaders to other teenagers in my ward as priesthood quorum presidents on and off for much of my teenage years. It has been a good experience to try and help my peers live up to their full potential as members of this church. I have also had the opportunity to hometeach families in my ward. I really enjoy the system of all the members of the church checking in on one another and making sure that everyone is taken care of. I have also helped in a multiplicity of community service projects to help anyone I could. It is important to serve our fellow man as Jesus served during his life. Serving others is the best way I have to live my faith.
