Hi I'm McKenna Bernier

I'm a small town girl who loves the country and the outdoors. I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I grew up as a middle child with two sisters in a very close-knit family. I lived in the same small town until I went to college. I have decided to study Family and Consumer Science. I really enjoy horse-back riding and rodeos. My family and I spend a lot of time outdoors biking, skiing, boating and just enjoying the sunshine. In my personal time I like to read and bake sweets.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I love the feeling I get when I am following the teachings of this church. I feel confident that when I pray I am receiving answers from a loving Heavenly Father who is pleased with the choices I am making. When I attend church meetings I feel the Spirit and when I read the Book of Mormon I receive guidance and answers to my prayers.

How I live my faith

While growing up I held several leadership positions within my youth group. After I started attending a young single adult ward I served as the leader of a compasionate service commitee. When attending a family ward I love to substitute in Primary because I love working with children. In my community, I enjoy participating in community events especially the 4-H Program. I am currently a full-time missionary for the church. I love teaching people about the gospel of Jesus Christ and inviting them to come unto their Savior.

Do Mormons regard the Bible as Holy Scripture and the word of God?

McKenna Bernier
The Book of Mormon is considered comparable to the Bible. We regard the Bible as scripture and learn of Christ's life through it's writings. My favorite scriptures from the Bible include Isaiah 1:18 and Jeremiah 1:5 Show more Show less
