Hi I'm Cody

I like to fix anything broken and serve others. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I like mechanics and fixing stuff. When I was in fifth grade I went to the shed and found a broken down snow machine. I worked on it for what seemed days. I delivered a list of parts to my parents and started it a week later. This is one area I lose myself; I dive in and teach myself. Driving my great grandpa's tractor and working on his farm are two things that give me a sense of hard work and satisfaction. When I was 8 my mom started to teach me the lesson of hard work. I started my own lawn mowing business and it started with my grandparents. I have mowed many lawns and saved 40% of everything I earned to help pay for my mission. Riding snow machines, motorbikes, and four wheelers, driving my Jeep, or driving to the wilderness with our camper also gives me a sense of oneness with our Heavenly Father. He has truly blessed us with many things. I have been stuck more than once and had to be rescued as I have tried to reach areas that many do not go. It is this seeking that adds adventure and memories. My favorite statement..."Making memories!" My dad makes this amazing "Matilda Cake". We call it that because of the movie Matilda and the Head Master's cake - Chocolate Chocolate. I enjoy food, eating it and making it. I especially enjoy it when family and friends are present.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the Gospel. Even though I was raised in the church, I have a testimony that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is the complete gospel of Jesus Christ. It brings me a sense of peace knowing there is a purpose to this life and its trials. It brings me comfort to know that my family will be a part of my eternity. My grandpa passed away a couple years ago and I believe we will be together again.

How I live my faith

I love to serve. I live by the saying..."Do unto others as you would have done unto you" - The Golden Rule. Christ was the perfect example of service and I have modeled my life after his example of service. I also take every opportunity to love unconditionally. I see all of God's children as they are... A Child of God. This too was modeled by Christ and I try to be as he is. How I live my faith is simple...I act or put my shoulder to the wheel.
