Hi I'm Amanda

I grew up in Orlando, Florida currently live in Utah. Love traveling, Spanish, and Public Health. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I grew up in the fabulous tourist city of Orlando, FL the oldest of three girls. I grew up loving going to Disney World with my family. After high school I moved to Utah and got a bachelor's of Spanish at Brigham Young University. As part of my Undergrad coursework I was able to do an internship in the Dominican Republic working with children at a summer school that changed my life. We taught them health practices from hygiene hand washing to the importance of forgiving others and learning to say I'm sorry. I fell in love with Public Health and decided to pursue a Master's of Public Health while working in some pretty awesome medical laboratories.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is Christ's Church on the Earth today. I know that God has not left his people alone and has modern day prophets to lead his people and that we can speak to and receive personal guidance from our Heavenly Father through prayer. I have read the Bible and read the Book of Mormon many times and know that they both testify of Christ.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by trying to live a Christ centered life. I believe we are all God's children and should treat one another as such. I believe people have the freedom to chose how they want to live their lives but that there is safety, protection, and peace from living the Commandments, reading the scriptures, and praying to develop a relationship with Heavenly Father.
