Hi I'm Maggie Tippetts

I'm a 15 year old Shopaholic, Dedicated to Fighting Crohnes through Healthy Eating, and I'm a Mormon

About Me

I am a Purpleologist, Thor-loving, Pinning Fanatic. I have chains on my teeth, and Freckles on my cheeks. I can shop till I drop, and be so Indecisive about things it makes my family crazy! I've been playing Piano for 5 years, and love learning new things. I fantasize about living in a Jane Austen novel, and being swept off my feet by a Knight in Shining Armor. Recently this year I found out that I have Crohns. At first it was a difficult challenge to overcome, and I felt as if there was no hope for me to have a normal life like all my other friends. But through tons of support from Family and Friends, along with my Faith in Christ, I have come to be able to not use any drugs, and still feel better than I have in my whole life. I am Dedicated to having a Healthy lifestyle, and eating better than ever! Through this Trial I have come closer to my Family, but most Importantly to my Father in Heaven. Instead of being something that could weaken my Testimony, Crohns has become the greatest Blessing I could have ever imagined in my life. It just goes to show Heavenly Father loves me and knows what I need when I need it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a 7th Generation Member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. When I was little I relied upon the Faith and Testimony of my Parents. But since then I have come to recieve my own Testimony, and Faith of my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who knows me, loves me, and wants what's best for me. Though I am still young I have a strong and unending Testimony of this Gospel. Through my Trials I blindly tried to stay true to that Testimony, and in the end it all paid off, and my Testimony is even stronger because of it. I Definitely could not have gone through what I have gone through without my Wonderful Family, My Testimony and Faith, and the help of my Savior, and my Father in Heaven. I love this Gospel and don't know where I would be without it.

How I live my faith

I wake up at 5 AM to go to an early-morning Seminary class to get taught about the Gospel. As shown by the time of day, I am truly dedicated to learning everything I can about the Gospel and putting it into action in my own life. Because I am Homeschooled I then have the opportunity to come home, and do Family History work for my deceased Ancestors. My Faith has grown as I have reached my Teenage years, and my Testimony increases day by day as I grow closer to my Father in Heaven. When I was a little girl I made the decision to keep my Standards high in Dressing Modestly, listening to clean music, watching clean movies, and being around people that Uplift and Inspire me. In a world that is becoming increasingly corrupted, you can Imagine how hard this may seem. I have never worn a dress that does not go to my knees, I have never swore, and I try to keep the things I listen to and watch as clean as possible. And I will continue to keep my Standards high for the rest of my life.
