Hi I'm Angeli

I am an artist, wife and mother. I am a Mormon.

About Me

I was born in the Florida Keys, grew up in the suburbs of Boston and Las Vegas, and now I reside with my family in Texas. I have always loved creating and beautiful things. I received my art degree in college, and continue to paint on my own and teach private art lessons when life allows. I married in college, and have two beautiful children. My other hobbies include gardening, exercise, piano, and cooking. I love nature, traveling, friends and family.

Why I am a Mormon

Life has had it's challenges, but I enjoy living life with a positive outlook. Despite being born into the LDS church, I have still had to go through the process of being truly converted to the gospel of Christ, just as we all do. I can say now with conviction that I know that this gospel is true. Christ lives. We are God's children, and He loves each one of us. Trials and adversity will arise in life, but Christ is the answer. He helps us along the path, giving us hope and clarity. Through all of the confusion that comes with growing up in a rapidly changing world, I find a refreshing purity in the gospel of Jesus Christ. God's standards do not change; the gospel does not change. The principles are simple: do what is good, stand for what is right, love and serve God and your fellow men. As we stand for truth, we can make the world, and our homes a better place. We can receive the ultimate happiness: eternal salvation. I have decided to hold to my faith, and stand for what is right, even when it is difficult. I cannot deny the spirit that I have felt - those strong impressions on my heart and mind that this is true. Why am I a Mormon? Because it makes sense. It makes me happy!

How I live my faith

Early in my youth, I began playing the piano and organ in church. In recent years, I have been involved with the youth, teaching the young women, female sports, young children, and now I serve as primary chorister of the children ages 3-11. Receiving my current calling was a bit scary, because I have always been behind a piano, not in front of it teaching and conducting music! However, it has been a very fun and rewarding experience. I love working with children and feeling the strength of their sweet testimonies and conviction of Christ. They truly strengthen me and make me a better person.
