Hi I'm Justin

I was born in LaGrange, GA. I my home is in South Jordan, Utah. I am a choral enthusiast and an actor. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

For a good part of my life, I have been heavily involved in choir, and had the opportunity to be in the Madrigal Choir at my High School. I have also been an involved member of the drama department, and been in many productions. I have had experience working at an Xpress Lube near my house, which has given me some inside depth on car maintenance. I have two younger brothers and do everything I can to set an example to them in everything that I do. In my free time, I like to read, listen to music, and spend time with my friends.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that this is the true, restored gospel here on the earth in these days. I have felt of my Savior's love for me and know what it feels like to have His loving arms wrapped around me, assuring me that everything will be okay and that He loves me more than I could possibly understand. Many times, He has saved me from the depths of my despair. I do everything that I can to do what He would do in any situation. I know He loves me, and I desire to help those I come in contact with to come to that same knowledge.

How I live my faith

In everything that I do, I stand as an advocate of righteousness, being thoughtful in all decisions that I make, regardless of who is watching. I encourage others to be respectful of others. In my work, I deal with customers honestly, making recommendations of the best things for their individual circumstances, rather than forcing something upon them that they have little or no interest in. I will be serving an LDS Mission in Posadas, Argentina, starting in October of 2013, and will return two years afterwards. I show respect to everybody that I come in contact with, regardless of how they may treat me.

How is the Book of Mormon different from the Bible? How did Joseph Smith obtain the “golden plates” or Book of Mormon?

The Holy Bible is a book of scripture comprised by the prophets in Europe, and then translated into English by scholars. The Book of Mormon is also an ancient record, but it contains the history of the people of the American Continent from 1200 B.C. to approximately 421 A.D.. It, two was translated, but rather than translated by learned men, it was translated by the Power of God through His servant Joseph Smith, Jr.. These records were, indeed, plates of gold, and they were given to the Prophet Joseph by an angel, Moroni, who was the last prophet to write on them and the prophet who sealed them up to come forth in our day. Through revelation, Joseph translated these plates, and then published the book so all the world could hear of its goodness. These golden plates were then shown to three men, and then eight others, who's testimonies of what they both saw and heard are printed on the first few pages of the book. It is not meant to replace the Bible, but rather to be used with it, for as the Bible states, "In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word be established."
