Hi I'm Michael

I am an optimist and a persister. I'm a father, a third-year medical student, and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a father, a medical student, a resident of Phoenix, and I am a Mormon.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised as a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My parents taught my brother and sisters and me to think for ourselves and to choose the right. My siblings for reasons of their own have not chosen to continue to attend church, but I choose to be a Mormon because I believe it. I feel peace and inspiration when I read the Book of Mormon and when I listen to the teachings of the leaders of the church. My membership in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints inspires me to continually attempt to improve. I love the Church and its members. I believe in God. I believe that Jesus Christ is God's son, and that Jesus is the Savior of the world. I believe that God and Jesus Christ direct the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints through revelation to its leaders.

How I live my faith

I am a full-time medical student in my third year of studies at the University of Arizona. I attend the down-town Phoenix congregation of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. My wife and I teach Sunday school there to the 10-12 year old members of our congregation.
