Hi I'm Elizabeth

I love swimming, singing, and hiking. I love my family. I am a Mormon!

About Me

I havealways been a fish. I learned to swim at a young age and loved it. I swam three years for my high school team. I swam distance events, but wasn't anything special. I had average times and didn't swim anything other than relays at state. I loved it! I don't remember a time when my family didn't hike together. It's always been a part of my life. I enjoy the time spent outdoors with the people I love most. I have a goal to visit all 50 states at some point in my life possibly as part of the Mormon Tabernacle Choir. I am excited to leave on an 18 month mission to Florida before the end of the month.

Why I am a Mormon

I became a Mormon because it's what I was taught growing up. I was born into an LDS family and never had a problem with the beliefs connected to the church. I am an active Mormon because I "doubted my doubts" and made an effort to find out for myself if this is the true church. I received my answer when I was 11 and continue to receive further comfirmations that I am doing what is right and that the Church ofJesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is God's only true church. The things taught in this church make sense and when I live by the principles taught me from birth, I am happy and my life is in order. God, our Heavenly Father, and His son, Jesus Christ, love me, my family, you, your family, and every other person to ever walk this earth. Christ gave His life so that we would all have the chance to live with Him and His fatherafter this mortal life. How can I deny the love of someome who suffered and diednfor me? I can't.

How I live my faith

I am an active participant in the LDS church. I attend all of the Sunday meetings and enjoy being a substitute teacher of the 18 month to 4 year-olds. I also take the church classes available at school. I am also involved in service for the community. My favorite service to do is anything where I am able to work with those of special needs. They are such sweet people and great friends!
