Hi I'm Tyler Seager

I'm from Utah I love meeting new people and I'm a missionary in the South Carolina Columbia mission and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love doing anything that is athletic, especially longboarding and soccer. I also have a great love for playing guitar, and love music. I have been blessed to be a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints all of my life and am currently serving a mission in the South Carolina Columbia mission, spanish speaking.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church and my family has always been strong active members. That isn't the only reason that I believe that this church is true. I never had some huge conversion, but even through having small very meaningful promptings I know that this church is true. I know that the Book of Mormon is the only book that is 100% correct, I have taken Moroni's promise in Chapter 10 and have prayed to know if it is true and I know that it is. I know that Joseph smith restored this gospel and that he translated the Book of Mormon only through God's help. I love my family so much and I'm so grateful that we have been sealed in the temple so that we can live together for eternity.

How I live my faith

I am serving a mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in the South Carolina Columbia mission, and every day I get to go out and invite people to come unto Christ. I am able to study, pray and gain a stronger relationship with our Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ more than I ever have before. I love being able to serve the Lord and being able to help people come into the one and only true church.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Tyler Seager
There are a few things that you have to do before you can know whether or not the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. First you will have to read, second you will need to pray and have a sincere desire to know the truth, and lastly take the final step and be baptized. This scripture tells it the best- Moroni 10:4-5 4 And when ye shall receive these things, I would exhort you that ye would ask God, the Eternal Father, in the name of Christ, if these things are not true; and if ye shall ask with a csincere heart, with real intent, having faith in Christ, he will manifest the truth of it unto you, by the power of the Holy Ghost.5 And by the power of the Holy Ghost ye may know the truth of all things. Why do Mormon missionaries proselyte?

Tyler Seager
Well I am a missionary right now in South Carolina. The reason that I go out every day and proselyte is because I know that the message that we share about the Restoration of the Gospel can and will change people's lives, if they are willing to listen. I have been able to see in my own life how much the Gospel has helped and changed my family life. It is sometimes difficult being a missionary and going out knocking on doors every day, getting doors slammed in your face. But the time that you find that one person who you can help change their life, that is when it all becomes worth it. I love being a missionary and it has changed my life for the better, and that is why I proselyte. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Tyler Seager
Being a Mormon doesn't change who we are it just helps us more fully live the commandments that God has given to us. Being a Mormon is great and I have grown much closer to our Heavenly Father while trying my best to follow the teachings of the Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter Day Saints. The church teaches the same things that Christ taught while he was here ministering to the people, and as we follow these things it brings happiness. Show more Show less
