Hi I'm Dave

I was born and raised in Bingham Canyon, Utah. I served in the Alaskan Canadian Mission. Came home and got married.

About Me

I am 66 years old. Married for 45 years to a beautiful redhead. We have 5 children, one of which is now deceased. We have 11 grandchildren. Of course they are all very cute. I am a pharmacist. I enjoy the outdoors, camping, fishing, hunting, biking. I am also a horsepower junkie. I have enjoyed the four-legged horsepower as well as the v-8 and snowmobile horsepower.

Why I am a Mormon

Even though I was born and raised in the church my testimony was born when I was in high school, that growth has continued ever since. It grew while I was on my mission, it grew more while I served in the Army and it has grown with each challenge in life. I have come know that I have a Savior, Jesus Christ and a Heavenly Father who know and love me in spite of my faults, sins and weaknesses. I have felt that peace and love that comes with repentance and effort to live the Gospel of Jesus Christ. I cannot imagine the pain of loosing our daughter without the knowledge of the resurrection, and knowing that if I live righteously we will all be reunited in the life hereafter. I have also learned many times over that God hears and answers heartfelt prayers and that He wants us to endure the trials of this life and return to Him.

How I live my faith

I am the membership clerk in our ward and a home teacher. I love the youth and love to help with their activities when I can. I have helped with several 50 mile backpack hikes and several horse pack trips into the mountains of Utah, Wyoming and Idaho.
