Hi I'm Kiana

I am Tahitian. I grew up in Hawai'i. I love to dance. I love to smile. I love flowers. I love being Mormon!

About Me

I grew up in Hawai'i with my wonderful family of 4. I graduated from Brigham Young university in Provo, Utah and majored in Geography. Shortly after graduating, I married my best friend, Kalin Uluave in the Laie Hawai'i temple. It is the best decision I have ever made in this life. Heavenly Father has blessed my life in so many ways and I love His beautiful gospel.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because I believe that the church is true. I believe that God created the earth and created a plan of happiness for each of us to return to him. I know that he sent his only begotten son, Jesus Christ, to atone for the sins of all mankind. This provided a means for each person to be forgiven of their sins and to return to Him. I am a Mormon because Heavenly Father listens and answers to my prayers. I feel peace and I feel the Spirit when I choose the rights. I want to follow Christ's example and be more like Him. In following His teachings we can stay on the path of righteousness and have a better understanding of this life. I am very grateful for my friends, family and Church leaders who have taught me these truths and I am also grateful for gift of prayer God has given us which allows me to seek spiritual assistance directly and receive answers.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church and participating in service projects. I am in the Laie Married Student 1st Ward. My husband and I hold church callings as Gospel Doctrine Sunday School teachers. We enjoy serving in our ward and in our community. I try to be involved as much as possible and serve on a daily basis. I know that we can feel the love of God when we serve others, big or small. I strive to be a force of good. Even though I fall short at times I know that everyday I can have a fresh start. I know that progression is continually seeking to do good and never giving up. I want to be a little better every single day.
