Hi I'm Anne Marie

I grew up in New Mexico. I'm a college student. I'm a teacher. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

Growing up, I've wanted to do a lot of things with my life, and I've tried a lot of things. In high school alone, I started to write my own book, design my own buildings, joined student government, and ended up playing basketball my senior year of high school. When I went to college, I had a hard time picking my major. I tried psychology, architecture, and then lastly I tried education. I loved it all, but by far choosing to become a teacher impacted my life the most. When I'm not working on my degree, I'm teaching in the schools during the day. Right now, I'm working in the special education department at one of the elementary schools I attended here when I was younger. I also work at night. It's important for me to keep busy, work hard, and pay for college on my own if I can. When I'm not working I like to hang out with my friends, watch movies, listen to music, read, and start art projects.

Why I am a Mormon

Every day I wake up, I hope for a better day. I go throughout the day trying to not only have a better day, but be a better person. This gospel has taught me how to be a better person, but also how that can in turn make my day better. I have been a member of this church my whole life, and have become happy. Not everyday has been easy, but because of this gospel I am happy. I know that when I make good choices I am blessed. I am also a mormon because I know that my Father in Heaven loves me, and that He does all that He can to not only protect me, but make me stronger. Every day I am reminded of His love.

How I live my faith

I attend a singles ward where we all work together in order to help spread the gospel to our friends. We like to host events to get others interested in attending church with us. We like the company that others give us when they chose to attend church meetings and activities. When I am at church I get to teach others, I give lessons on a several different gospel topics, like the commandments of the Lord.
