Hi I'm Bob Dalton

I am the father of four children, have been married to my best friend for almost thirty years and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three sons and one daughter. My two oldest sons have served as missionaries for our church. My daughter is leaving for Brazil in just a few weeks. My youngest son is in high school and is planning on serving a mission when he graduates. Our family loves the outdoors and spending time together.

Why I am a Mormon

I've been a Mormon my whole life. When I was a teenager, I wanted to know for myself if this was the church of Jesus Christ. I visited many of the churches of my friends. They were all good people and were honestly following the Savior as best as they knew how. I read and studied all of the scriptures including the Book of Mormon. After much fasting and prayer I came to know for myself that Jesus is the Christ, that Joseph Smith was a Prophet of God, that the Book of Mormon testifies of Christ and stands as a witness of His life and attonimg sacrifice. It is a companion to the Holy Bible. I also know that we have a Prophet on the earth today that leads and guides us. My testimony has continued to grow over the years and as I continue to study and pray it grows stronger. I am so grateful for the blessings of the attonimg sacrifice of our Savior, Jesus Christ. By reading the Book of Mormon and praying with real intent and with an open heart, you can also know the truthfullness of the gospel.

How I live my faith

I am our ward's Mission Leader and love sharing the gospel with my friends and those I meet. I travel all over North America with my profession and love to tell people about my family and my beliefs. I've been a Scoutmaster with the Boy Scouts of America for almost thirty years and love working with youth both in my church and in our local community.
