Hi I'm Solene O'Brien

Born and raised in South-East England. A lover of arts, animals and writing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have always lived in South-East England, by the sea. I enjoy classical music, exercise, exploring/travel, reading, photography and have a passion for writing. I am currently in my last year of seminary and studying at college. Here are some of my favourite scriptures: Moses, 3:18 Moses, 4:1 - 2 3 Nephi, 12:9 St.John , 1:4,5,14. Doctrine and Covenants, 122:5-9

Why I am a Mormon

I was born into the church as both my parents are members. When I was 15, I had a stronger more personal desire to know if the things I had learnt and were learning are true. Needless to say, no-one can decide for you. So I did what I needed to to find out for myself. I was attentive in seminary, to understand and apply the principles I learnt from the scriptures into my life. I read as often as I could, tried hard to live the standards and prayed daily, throughout the day. Many of my prayers were answered, and I knew I was talking with Heavenly Father, not just to him. My testimony grew so much, from all the things I have experienced. I adore my knowledge of the gospel. I am a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints because the feelings and emotions I have towards the Lord's church are more real, and pure than they are towards anything else. Because it is the plan of happiness, to reaching our full potential, and the way to return to live with Him.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by attending church classes, going to seminary (a class for the youth to learn and study the scriptures, ( 14 to 18)), and praying often. Keeping the standards is important, and I want to always try to perfect myself in that.
