Hi I'm George Stewart

I am studying to be a doctor. I have a testimony of my savior, Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am 23 years old and I am a college student working hard to get into a physical therapy school. I love both watching and playing all sports. I enjoy the outdoors and doing adventurous things such as, sailing, camping, jeeping, hiking, rock climbing etc. I have been skydiving! I like all types of music except the really old, twangy country. Dancing is fun. I can't get enough of watching movies. I speak Portuguese fluently e amo o povo brasileiro!

Why I am a Mormon

I have had doubts concerning different aspects of being a Mormon. I continue to question different aspects of my beliefs. Although, I have received for myself undeniable evidence that God is my Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ is His son and my loving Savior and brother, that Joseph Smith was a true prophet and is the means by which Christ restored His church again on the earth and that the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His one true church on the earth today. I know of these things because I have had doubts and questions. I have prayed to my father in the name of Christ asking Him of these things and he has made them known to me through my thoughts, feelings, and resolved doubts resulting in comfort to my soul. I am not perfect. Not even close. I find strength in the knowledge that no matter how many times I fall or sin I can get back up, be better, repent and be able to return to live with Christ and my Father in heaven and become like them. I am a Mormon because I know its what we all need to be, members of Christ's true church on the earth.

How I live my faith

I strive to invite others to come unto our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ by helping them receive the restored gospel through faith in Jesus Christ and His atonement, repentance, baptism, receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost, and persevering until the end. I try to help others come to the knowledge that we have a living prophet on the earth today, President Thomas S. Monson that has been called by the head of our church, Jesus Christ, to lead and guide His true church on the earth. I do this by bearing simple testimony by the way I live my life and interact with my brothers and sisters here on earth.
