Hi I'm Charlotte Ferguson

I'm from Manchester, England and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I'm 17 years old and am working full time at a shipping company, i love it! After School i went straight into working at first it was Part time in retail for 3 years and now i work in an office with some of the nicest people! I have 7 members in my family including me, and I've also been blessed with two brothers in law and a nephew called Kelvin James Teancum Troy. Just recently my other sister has become pregnant too, so soon i'll have another nephew yay! My mum and dad are both returned missionaries they both served in America, so they have lots of fun stories! I'm from Manchester, England and I'm in the Littleborough ward/Ashton stake, I have the most amazing friends who i love spending time with at church activities and at other events too.

Why I am a Mormon

I just used to go along with things like going to church. But recently I have come to embrace the truthfulness of the gospel, I feel and know that I am an elect daughter of God, we are all children of our Heavenly Father... he loves us unconditionally even when we don't show our love for him as much as we should. I am a Mormon because I believe that this is the true church, knowing what I know and studying my scriptures fills me with hope, I'm not exempt from trails, but by being a member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints I find easier ways to endure them.

How I live my faith

I'm 17 which means I'm still in the youth programme, i leave when I'm 18 and hope to get a calling in my ward. The youth programme is amazing! Meeting and becoming friends with people who believe the same as you is amazing to do. I love to live the principles of the gospel and show people that I'm happy by doing that! Being young and having such standards isn't very common right now, but by living what i believe i know that i am representing my saviour and becoming who he wants me to be.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Charlotte Ferguson
The tithing that church members give is used to construct LDS temples, chapels and other buildings. Tithing can also be used to help future missionaries financially prepare for their mission if they don't have the money. In Malachi 3:10 we are promised blessings if we abide to the law of tithing.
