Hi I'm Adam

I am a Father of two wonderful boys. I am a partner in an insurance agency. I love the gospel of Jesus Christ. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a 32 yr. old Father of two young energetic boys. I have a wonderful wife. We grew up in the church and we love it. I am a partner in an insurance agency. I spend much of my time at work as I travel all over the state and neighboring states to advise people on their insurance, and to offer solutions. My favorite thing to do is to spend time with my family. I also like to work outside and to have some wood working projects. I enjoy developing and building things. I would like to have a small farm one day as that is my background, and I love to see things grow.

Why I am a Mormon

I have been raised in the gospel of Jesus Christ. I consider this to be a great blessing. I have learned of Jesus from a young age. I have been able to experience the feeling of the truthfulness of the gospel at many different times throughout my life. As a youth I always wanted to believe it was true, but I didn't know at that point with a certainty that it was true. I liked going to church and doing the right thing, but I didn't have the conviction of a sure knowledge that it was true. As I was in the Missionary training center about to leave to teach the gospel as a missionary to the people of Peru I knelt in fervent prayer to ask Heavenly Father if the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is His true church and if I was to serve a mission. I felt an overwhelming warmth to a point I couldn't deny that this came from God. I committed at that point to always give all that I could to serve Him, to be obedient to his laws and to help others. I love the gospel and I have had many other marvelous experiences since, that have once again confirmed to me the reality of our Savior and his divine love for all of us. I love being a Mormon!!!

How I live my faith

I currently serve as the Bishop of our ward. In this calling I have the opportunity to work with many people in my neighborhood. A ward is a group of people in an area that come together to help each other, and to learn more about the Savior. The Bishop is who has been called to preside over a ward and to watch over the ward members. Many in other religions would compare this to a preacher. Bishops don't get paid for their service, but their responsibility for shepherding, leading and helping people repent are similar. I love the people in my ward/ neighborhood. I love to serve others. Although I am not perfect, my goal is to strive every day to become more like our Savior. I strive to study the gospel of Jesus Christ on a daily basis and to read the scriptures. I want to be worthy to be able to fulfill this opportunity to serve to a standard acceptable to Heavenly Father.
