Hi I'm Brock

I'm an Aspiring Advertising Kid. I'm Samoan. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

As a student in mid-transition to "adulthood" I am wrapping up my final year in college. It's been a long road to say the least. Venturing down the road toward a career as a Doctor, I took a step back and made drastic switch - into the field of advertising! Understanding who I am, my natural skills and inherent capabilities was a big reason for the push. I have a newfound passion for for photography and take every chance I can to go and shoot. I love running and find swimming a great way to destress. My family means everything to me! Anytime we are together we laugh and joke until the late hours of the night. With everyone spread out and transitioning out of school and into careers, we have come to cherish these moments.

Why I am a Mormon

I am Mormon because of the knowledge that I have gained. I know that we have a loving Father in Heaven. I know that He wants us to succeed, to learn and to grow. I know that we can struggle and fall but we can be lifted up. It takes people who care and are willing to listen. It takes a strong conviction to turn your life back to Our Heavenly Father. It takes the Savior Jesus Christ and His Atonement. I know that the Book of Mormon is Another Testament of Christ. I know that we are lead by a Prophet of God on the Earth today. He is a chosen servant of the Lord who speaks on His behalf. I know that prayer is real and it is our opportunity to speak with our Heavenly Father. He is listening as we ask Him in faith for answers. We can be reunited with our loved ones after this life. The trials we face in this life are used to temper the body, mind and spirit. I love this Church and invite all who are seeking answers to life's questions to seek out honest answers here!

How I live my faith

Learning in the church is something that I have a strong conviction and testimony about. You can never stop learning and growing. There are times in our lives where we may trip up and fall but as long as we take the good from the experience, we can overcome. As a member of the Missionary Committee in my local congregation I help others to grow and learn in the gospel both outside of and inside of the church. I help those who are investigating the church by teaching them about the basic principles and ordinances of the gospel. Seeing people learn, grow, and change as they grow closer to the Savior is a great experience. It is not less different when we work with those who are less-active in the church. Bringing someone back to the church and rediscovering his or her testimony is just as (if not more) fulfilling.
