Hi I'm Kami

"I'm a wife, mother, friend and I'm a Mormon."

About Me

I married with two children who I love so much! One of my children has special needs, which can be challenging at times but has also been a huge blessing in our lives and in those that know her. I love to play racquetball, go on hikes, photography and spending time with family and friends.

Why I am a Mormon

Our Heavenly Father loves all his children no matter what religion, race or circumstance. I'm a Mormon because it just makes sense to me and feels right. Heavenly Father loves us so much that he made a way for me and you to come back to His presence again through His Son Jesus Christ. There is a plan for all of God's children. We lived with Him before we came to this earth. Now we are on this earth to be tested and to gain a physical body and when we die we will be resurrected. Families can be together again and I will be with my loved ones who have passed away. This is a gospel of progression. When we sin we can repent. There is more in the after life than just a Heaven or Hell. There is progression. If someone hasn't heard about the gospel or accepted Christ as there Savior they will be given that opportunity. We've been given scriptures that guide and teach us how we should live. We have the Priesthood restored to the earth today. The times in my life where I have felt the closest to my Savior was when a Priesthood blessing was given to either myself or one of my children. The world has been given modern day revelation through a Prophet and Apostles that guide us today. There is order and structure in the Lords work. The same Sunday lessons are being taught around the world. I can't help but be strengthened in my faith when I see hours upon hours of service given through members of our church in teaching others , serving others, and young adults dedicating 2 years of their lives to bring the great news of the restored gospel to the world, all without pay but with their own commitment to furthering the Lords work because they know it is the truth. Finally the power of prayer and the amazing, wonderful gift of the Holy Ghost that gives me comfort and guidance in my daily life.

How I live my faith

I currently work with the children in our church under the age of 12 years old. I love to get to know their different personalities and to hear them sing. I also visit and share a gospel message with a few ladies in the neighborhood to make sure they are doing okay and I feel grateful that I have some ladies that look out for me as well.
