Hi I'm Brenneck Clayton

I was born in utah and lived my whole life there and am going to be serving a mission in chicago illinois.

About Me

I am a 19 year old male who was recently called to serve a mission in chicago illinois. i am the middle child in family of three. me and my siblings are all adopted. after my mission i plan to continue my college education at weber state university in ogden utah studying history and political science. my interests are mainly reading mostly classics and playing video games with my chums. i also enjoy spending time with my family and watching an assortment of british comedies mostly monty python.

Why I am a Mormon

i am a member of this church by choice not by the simple fact of being born into a predominantly mormon family i went through my own spiritual conversion and gained a strong belief in god and the truth of my faith. the sheer amount of service and love conveyed by other members itself is a strong indication of how serious we take our faith as we try to emulate all the teachings of christ to truly become a disciple of christ.

How I live my faith

I go to my church meetings weekly every sunday. and serve faithfully in callings in my church such as helping to maintain the church grounds, bless the sick and afflicted, bless the sacrament, and other spiritual duties. i have also completed seminary classes during high school and enjoy going with friends to institute so i can learn more about my faith.

What is done with the tithing that Mormons pay?

Brenneck Clayton
The purpose of tithing is for the welfare of church members and for humanitarian aid and for providing tempels,s churches and other buildings for the church members and the public. this is how the lords funds is work on earth by allowing the faithful to give of there abundance to help the needy and to fund church related work and construction. just as christ commanded us to cloth the naked and feed the hungry this is how we fund our welfare and humanitarian system so we as members can fulfil his commandments this practice is not new it was practiced in the old testament by abraham who payed tithing to the high priest Melchizedek (Genesis 14:17-20).
