Hi I'm Ciara

I am a college student. I am an entrepreneur. And I am a Mormon.

About Me

I am only 19 so there is not that much to tell you yet. However, I am currently a college student getting ready to serve a mission in Vina del Mar, Chile. Even though I have been handed many obstacles in my life, just as many of us have to endure, I try to continue to be happy and do the things I love. There are many things that I am passionate about such as, playing sports, taking pictures, listening to music, traveling, exploring, and spending time with my friends and family. As I have been preparing to serve my mission I have realized how service can always bring happiness into my own life. It is a reminder of what our savior would do, and even though I am no where near perfect I know that I can always strive to be like him.

Why I am a Mormon

I grew up in this church, but my freshman year in high school I decided to make my own choice. For the longest time I based my testimony off of my parents. As I grew older I wanted to learn for myself if this was where God wanted me to be. So I took on Moroni's challenge after finishing the Book of Mormon and gained a sure knowledge that this gospel is another testament of Christ. That I am a daughter of God. And I am blessed with a constant love from Him and my Savior, Jesus Christ. Each and everyday I do see their love through the blessings I have received. I know that this is only the beginning of my journey and that God has so much in store for me. I may not be perfect but I know that I can continue grow as the person Heavenly Father would want me to be. I'm only 19 but my faith and knowledge can only get stronger.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving to be like christ. So I have come to realize that a majority of my actions do revolve around how I feel in my heart along side the knowledge I have gained in the past 19 years. As I stated before I am about to serve a full time mission, which was a choice I made on my own. Even though I feel inadequate at times, it brings me happiness to know that I will be telling others about our brother and Savior, Jesus Christ.
