Hi I'm Ariana

I was born in New Zealand.I love spending time with my friends and Aiga and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the oldest of 4 girls. I love the game of Basketball. I am half Maori half Samoan. I grew up in Lower-Hutt New Zealand. I love cooking, baking, and looking after kids. I am a kiwi. I moved to Australia in December 2013 to prepare to serve a honorable mission. I grew up in a part member family my mum is a member and my dad isnt. I finished year 13 at Wellington East Girls College last year. I want to study to be a make-up artist I want to travel the world and experience new cultures and step out of my confort zone. I am easy going and really down to earth. I love making new friends and getting to know others better. I am now serving my mission in the Nevada Las Vegas West.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because it makes me happy. I love coming to church and interacting with my ward members and especially my friends. I know that Christ died on the cross so that we could have the opportunity to repent and be forgiven of our sins, I know that families can be together forever and I'm gratefully for the family I have been blessed to have, I know that prayer is a important part of my life without relying and putting my trust in the lord to help me in my time of need I wouldn't have been moulded into the person I am today and I know that we have a living prophet on this earth Thomas. S. Monson who is God's mouth piece in these latter days. It has been difficult growing up in a part member family and having to grow up quicker than a normal child should. I had to be brave and continue to be an example to my sisters. I am doing this through preparing to serve a mission and being an example to my dads family in particular and helping them join the church so they can experience the happiness and joy that the gospel brings to my life. Overall I just want to prove to my family that I can do anything that I put my mind to and make them proud that I am willing to put my trust and faith in the lord while I serve him for 18 months.

How I live my faith

I attend the Young Single Adults Programme. It has really helped me to be able to interact with all sorts of cultures and ethnic background people. My people skills have improved hugely and I'm not so shy anymore. Sometimes I help out in nursery also before my mission. The little children have such sweet spirits and are so adorable. I love helping out where it's needed and giving service to those in need. I would love to have a calling in the near future and help those lost souls come back unto Christ. I share my faith by being an example to those around me and loving everyone no matter of their faults and weaknesses. I have learnt so much on my mission about being truly converted to the gospel and helping other have the Holy Ghost in there lives so they can start living in accordance with the commandments.
