Hi I'm Sophia

I live in Menifee and I run. I have great aspirations and I'm a Mormon!

About Me

I run cross country and track and I happen to attract injuries quite often. I also have strong testimonies about several things, including family, trials, and the truthfulness of the Book of Mormon. I have been through a lot and could not be more grateful for the trials that God has given me.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know it's true. I am a witness that God exists and that Jesus Christ suffered for us. I have never found more inspiration from someone or something outside the Church. Scriptures give me everyday guidance and leaders are always finding ways to teach me and help me through whatever I may be experiencing.

How I live my faith

I live my faith following this: Know it. Live it. Love it! I try to make everyone feel at home whether they are visiting from a different area or investigating our church.

What do Mormons believe is the purpose of life?

The Lord has always had a plan for us. It is known by many names, my favorite of which is the Plan of Happiness. He sent us down here to receive a physical body and be able to learn through experiences. We grow stronger spiritually and become more Christ-like as we learn more about him. He wants us to come home to him and live eternally with him. Show more Show less

What is the Word of Wisdom that Mormons talk about?

We have been taught that our body is sacred, and we should treat as such. The scriptures emphasize healthy eating and good sleeping and exercise habits. We do not drink alcohol, do drugs, or partake of caffeine. We believe that if we follow the Word of Wisdom we will be blessed spiritually and physically. Show more Show less
