Hi I'm Ross Kay

I played high school football, I wrestled, and played rugby. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I have three mortal loves. Football, Wrestling, and Rugby. My eternal loves are my family, and my religion. I am the 2nd child out of 3 boys. I love my family, they mean everything to me! I feel like the Book of Mormon prophet, Nephi, being born of goodly parents! I also love the gospel and how much it has blessed my life! Sports have also helped me define who I am. Through learning teamwork, learning leadership, and gaining a great work ethic. I plan on pursuing a law degree in the future.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, but I wasn't converted until my freshman year of high school when two deaths happened that devastated our community. I had many friends that weren't members that didn't know where to turn for help. It wasn't until a week after these deaths had happened that I received a witness for my self that life doesn't end with death. I was sitting in seminary one morning and the lesson was about the plan of salvation. I could feel the spirit so strongly that I knew that this gospel is true. When people ask me why I'm serving a mission or why I'm Mormon, I simply reply because I know... not believe or feel, but because I know that the gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that I am a witness of the love that god has for all his children.

How I live my faith

I served a full-time Spanish-speaking mission in Detroit Michigan. I was a Sunday School teacher in my home ward. And am an Elder's Quorum instructor.
