Hi I'm Jesse

I grew up in Utah. I played High School lacrosse. I'm really big into snow skiing. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I love to play and watch sports of most every kind. I love doing things out doors like hiking and boating. I like to longboard and snow ski. I'm not going to school right now but I would like to go to BYU. Some of my interest are film/photography, movies, music, and sports, I love to draw, build and fix things. I like working on cars and learning more about mechanics. I want to travel the world and see new places. I love trying new things. I love talking, interacting with people and learning about all different kinds of lifestyles. I like clothing and design and wearing new outfits. I like electronics, like smart phones and internet and all the possibilities that they open up. I enjoy staying fit and going to the gym and especially running. I love the summertime and being able to be warm. My favorite place to go on vacation is the beach. I love the ocean and the sun and the warm weather.

Why I am a Mormon

I was raised in the church my whole life, but I didn't always believe in it. There were things I didn't understand and even didn't like about the church. I probably wouldn't be a member if it weren't for my incredible friends and family surrounding me all the time. Over the course of a year or so I had a seminary teacher that changed the way I looked at things and really helped me learn who Jesus Christ is. I challenged myself to do better and reading my scriptures and praying every day and while it may not have been every single day, a change still happened. I felt the desires of my heart change into wanting to know more and more about the gospel. Now I have a testimony of my own and I have felt of the love that Christ has to offer and I cannot deny the feelings and experiences I've had. I love this gospel and the joy that it has brought to my life and that is why I am a Mormon.

How I live my faith

I try my best to read and pray everyday to better keep the spirit with me. I attend all my church meetings and make the Sabbath day holy. I watch for those who need help and try to find ways to serve my neighbors. I talk and do activities with my family that keep the spirit close. Some of the young men and I in my ward do service projects for the community like painting houses, mowing lawns and moving in or out new neighbors. I love to listen for quotes and write them down so I remember them and they help me make better choices. I love listening to peaceful music that talk about Christ or faith and prayer, they help me stay in a gpod mood and be more thankful for what I have. I count my blessings when I'm feeling upset or sad to cheer me up. I talk with church leaders about questions I have about the church because I don't know or understand everything. I try to be a good example, meaning I like to remind myself that someone is always watching me and I should always act in the way that lets people know I believe in what I say by what I do.
