Hi I'm Colin Bonfield

I'm a recent RM fronm Canada Vancouver Mission. I love to cook. Sharing the gospel changed my life!

About Me

when I was 18 months old I had liver cancer, I went through lots of treatment and fought real hard to know be 18 years cancer free! I live in Canada (no I don't ride a polar bear) and have graduated high school and college working in the food industry. I am currently planning on serving a mission for the LDS church in Vancouver Canada. when I come home I have plans for some more school for more cooking and business to hopefully run or own my own restaurant in the future. I love to cook and play American football...although we Canadians have improved it greatly....and hockey ( Canadian remember). I have 2 brothers and 2 sisters and 2 loving parents. I was not born into the gospel but was so early enough that I was baptized at the age of 8. I have been waiting my whole life to be able to serve a mission and now it is finally here I am very happy and excited to serve the lord.

Why I am a Mormon

well I was raised most my life in the gospel and have grown in it. I really learned and gained on my own when our ward youth group went down to Nauvoo, we walked the trail of hope and then had special permission to have a testimony meeting in the school of the prophets which was the most spiritual thing ever!

How I live my faith

I don't surrender to the popular demands of the day and stand for what I know God would have me to do. I will always live to the fullest and help other people when they are in need. Renewing my covenants each week at sacrament is that constant rock of a reminder for me to always do better.
