Hi I'm Jessica Ibarra

I'm studying speech language pathology, i love singing, my family and my friends. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm a student. I play the piano, harp and I sing.I was a swimmer in high school and swimming is still my favorite type of exercise. I took five semesters of Spanish so I can understand it and sort of speak it. I love most animals, dogs especially.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know who I am. I know that I am a daughter of God who loves me and knows my potential. I know that he made me specifically for my life experiences and trials. I am not an ordinary person, God doesn't make ordinary people, everyone is amazing and extraordinary in their own way. He cares about every little thing that is important to me, nothing is too small. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and that he suffered for all my sins so that I can repent when I make mistakes. My Savior also knows of my trials and struggles and has felt my pain and frustration. I know that I am not alone in this life. Because I have faith in all these things I also obey the commandments. I know the Lord wants me to obey the commandments so that I can be happy and one day return to live with him. Because I love and trust my Heavenly Father I try my very best to obey him. I am a Mormon because I love God and Jesus Christ and I know that they love me and want me to be happy.

How I live my faith

I go to all my church meetings on Sunday and I read my Book of Mormon everyday. I also am enrolled in classes at the LDS institue of religion. I currently don't have a calling because I just moved to the ward I'm in. In the past I have helped find people to participate in special musical numbers and have participated in them myself. I also was a cochair in one of the activity committies.
