Hi I'm Truman Halladay

Born & Raised // California Moved // Arizona 2012 Serving // Wellington, New Zealand. Temp. Assigned // St.George, Utah

About Me

I make things. I am always writing / drawing / building / creating something. I love taking an idea and being able to see it come together. I do a lot of design also. One thing I also love, is being involved in something new. New people. New place. New problems. That is a reason I am so excited to be in New Zealand. I cannot wait to be immersed in that culture with all of the amazing people.

Why I am a Mormon

Simply, this gospel has aided me such in becoming who I am today. It really helped me understand that we all have struggles, and we all have them for specific reasons. I guess that is when I was converted. I had to move in the middle of my junior year, from sunny California to the Deserts of Arizona. It was very difficult. I got really depressed. I had a bad attitude about it all. This trial enabled me to turn to the Lord and pray for strength. Heavenly Father is there for everyone. He is waiting to hear from every one of His children. That's powerful. That's love.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by keeping my standards every day. I strive to be an example to everyone I meet. The people you are around influence and impact you so much; so I always try to be positive & loving. I am serving a two year mission because I want to be able to help all I can & love new people. I believe that if I am blessed to know this gospel, then I have to share it. It is such a strong & powerful truth, and has changed my life. It would be selfish to not share it.

What is a “testimony” that Mormons speak of?

A testimony to me is the absolute knowledge we gain of something through faith. Show more Show less
