Hi I'm James

I was born in St. George, Utah. I grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have 8 children, and 16 grandchildren.

About Me

For over 19 years I worked as a cutter operator in the printing industry of the LDS Church. I've always liked cars, and for years I loved to purchase the Consumer Reports Auto edition, and have checked on the cars reliability, and statistics. I enjoy reading.

Why I am a Mormon

I was born and raised in the church, and have always liked it. I served a mission when I was 19 for two years in Brazil, and by working with the Brazilian people it strengthened my testimony of the church. Now, my wife and I will serve a one year mission away from home speaking Portuguese again. I know the church is true. It touches every aspect of my life, it is not just a one day religion, it is 365 days a year, everything I do is reflected in my belief in the gospel. We believe that families can be together forever, and the church and my family are the most important things in my life!

How I live my faith

I visit 3 families each month to share a gospel message, 2 of which have young children. I like to take a picture scripture story book to read with the families with young children.
