Hi I'm Nils

I consider southern California my home, I enjoy being artistic and active.I love the Lord and I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I'm currently a college first semester freshman. I enjoy drawing, painting, or anything that allows me to be creative. I feel that there's something special in using our talents to create things that make others smile. I've never been good at sports, but that didn't stop me from running cross country in high school and having a great time with my teammates. I try my best everyday to focus my life around the Lord because it brings me and my family happiness!

Why I am a Mormon

Yes I was born into the church, but that isn't why I'm a Mormon. By the time I was about fifteen to sixteen years old, I had to make a decision. I needed to know for myself If the church was really true and feel that it was true. So, slowly over time, I began reading the Book of Mormon and praying. I wanted to become better and I felt that I could. I began to receive impressions of things I needed to begin doing and things that I needed to stop doing. I'm a few years older now and will leave to serve a mission in only a few short months. So why am I a Mormon? I'm a Mormon because I sought after truth and found it. I've prayed to our Heavenly Father and have felt His love. I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the Lords church and eternal happiness is found within it. I know that we are children of a Heavenly Father, who looks after us and loves us. Being a Mormon has brought me more happiness than I can express.

How I live my faith

I live my faith by striving each day to become more like the Savoir and by helping those around me.

How can I know Mormonism is true?

Nils
The answer to this question is simple but requires effort and faith. Heavenly Father lives and loves all of His children, including you. He is willing to bless us with the knowledge that the Book of Mormon is true, but only after we do our part. If we sincerely read and ponder over the message of the Book of Mormon, God will bless you with His spirit, letting you know of the books truthfulness. By seeking Heavenly Father out in prayer and asking to know if is true, He will let tell you that it is true through His spirit. It is my testimony that our Heavenly Father will guide us to truth if we have faith in Him, keep His commandments, and read the Book of Mormon. Show more Show less

What is being a Mormon like?

Nils
To live the life of a Mormon is to be happy. During the course of my life, I have found great comfort in knowing that Heavenly Father is always watching over me and will help me through the hard times. I live each day much like anyone else. I wake up early, go to school and do my best to make it through the day. Many times, I make mistakes which can cause me to feel sad. But because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, I know I can repent and be forgiven. This gives me hope and helps me move on each day. Being a Mormon may be challenging, but the happiness and blessings that flow from it make all the difference. To be able to feel the love that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ have for me as I pray and read the scriptures makes all the challenges worthwhile. Being a Mormon has made my life have so much purpose and helps me live each day. Show more Show less
