Hi I'm Megh

I am a mother of three, a trained paralegal, and an amateur photographer. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am a mother of three young children. Four years ago, my husband was laid off from his job. We weren't sure how we were going to make the ends meet because we were living in a rural area. We were so grateful that after only a few short months, I was offered a well paid job as a paralegal. For three years, I was able to support my family as the sole bread winner while my husband stayed home with the kids. I am also grateful now to be home with my children while my husband is back to work. While I am at home, I am taking some time to try to get a photography business started.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a convert to the church. I was baptized when I was thirteen years old. I had always sought after religion -- going to many different churches and faiths with friends and family -- but I could not seem to find a faith that believed the same things that I held in my heart. Then, a friend invited me to go to LDS girls' camp with her. Through learning about the church in activities leading up to camp, the week we were there at camp, and later meeting with the missionaries to learn more, I finally found a faith that I felt was perfectly aligned to what I already believed. I am so grateful for the decision I made to be baptized. I know that our Heavenly Father loves each and every one of us individually. I know that this church is His restored gospel upon the earth today. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God and that we have a living prophet today, Thomas S. Monson. I know that we are each destined for greatness and that by faith and perseverance we can achieve our highest potentials.

How I live my faith

I was recently asked to serve in our ward with the Young Women's organization and I am so excited to work with the teenage girls. I love to serve the members of our congregation by helping to teach and by planning activities that aim to increase the sisters' faith and personal righteousness, strengthen families and homes, and seek out and help those in need.
