Hi I'm Brec Tambo

I'm from Reno, Nevada. Family is everything to me. I love to spend time with my wife and daughter. I'm a Mormon.

About Me

I am the second child in a family of four kids. My parents are divorced. I love to be with my family. I have a wife and a newborn daughter. I served a mission in the Buenos Aires Argentina North Mission, and those were years of many blessings of joy in my life. I love to play the piano, and to play any sports, especially with my family. I will be going to college for a bachelor's in Healthcare Administration. I love to be busy, and to reach all of my goals that I set. I love to be active. I love to go to church, and to see the happiness on others' faces when they feel the Spirit for the first time. When people tell me that I can't do something, I like to prove people wrong and be the person to do said thing.

Why I am a Mormon

I know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ that was restored through the prophet Joseph Smith, and that in this church, you will find the true Priesthood Authority of God. That authority allows us to be baptized, and to partake in sacred covenants like the Sacrament. I know that Joseph Smith was a prophet, and that through him, Jesus Christ was able to restore His church back on earth once more. I know that the Book of Mormon is the word of God, and that with the Bible, we will be able to gain true testimony of Jesus Christ, and be able to live happier, more fulfilling lives. I know that our prophet in these days, Thomas S. Monson, is a prophet, and that he receives personal revelation from Jesus Christ to know how to better guide the church and it's members. I know that Jesus is the Christ, and that He lives, even as you and I live. I know that it is through Jesus Christ and His eternal sacrifice (the Atonement) we can repent and become clean of our sins. Repentance is not only key to our salvation, it is necessary and very, very useful. I know that as we strive to become more like Jesus Christ, and less like the natural man, we will be able to live with our Heavenly Father again, through sacred ordinances such as baptism and going to the temple. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ love us, and when it's hard for us to feel their love, it's because we need to come closer to them, and to love them even more. I know all these things are true, without a doubt in my mind.

How I live my faith

I love to serve, it is one of the keys to my happiness. Whenever I see someone in need, or I feel that they need something, I like to go to that person and just talk to them and be happy. Some people just need to feel loved. In other cases, I strive to see what I can do to help that person to be happier. I don't like seeing other people sad. I am the Ward Mission Leader in my ward, which means I invite all to come unto Christ, and organize missionary work and efforts in the ward. I have many opportunities to serve and to love others. I love to teach and to help people to understand the Gospel. It makes me feel so good inside to be able to help others see and feel the way that I feel, and it is an even more satisfying feeling to know that these people are becoming more Christ-like. This in turn helps me to want to be a better person in general. I strive to become like Christ daily, and I love becoming a better person.
