Hi I'm Katelyn White

I grew up in Riverton, Utah. My family means the world to me. I love to play sports and chill with friends.

About Me

I love to be active, listen to music, watch movies and just chill. As long as I can remember I have been playing sports. Growing up with 2 brothers we were always outside shooting hoops, kicking a soccer around or playing some catch whether it be with a football or softball. I cannot tell you how many hours I've spent over the 10 years playing accelerated softball at the ball parks. For a while, the field was my home. Looking back I am so grateful for the experiences, and life lessons I learned but most importantly I am grateful for the love and support I was shown by not only my Heavenly Father, my Savior Jesus Christ and my family. Words cannot convey how much I LOVE my family. My mom not only is my biggest fan, advocate, but ultimately she is my Best Friend. I am so thankful for the Gospel of Jesus Christ that allows me to be with them forever. It wouldn't be Heaven If I couldn't be the people I love the most. As of right now I am serving in the Mississippi Jackson Mission and am loving it.

Why I am a Mormon

I am a Mormon because I know that it is exactly where I need to be. I know that my Heavenly Father loves me and has a plan for me, and my family. It is found in the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. A plan of Happiness. A plan that if I try my best, I know that My Savior will pick me up and make up the rest. I am so grateful for the Atonement. The comfort of knowing that Jesus Christ died so He could be anyone I need him to be, my teacher, my friend, my coach, anyone, you name it. All you have to do is ask the right questions he'll be there to help you along. I cannot begin to express to you how much joy my family and I have received over the years from being apart of this great organization. I know that the Church Of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is true. Everyone deserves to know! :)

How I live my faith

There are many ways I have found I can live my faith. I am not perfect by any means and there is always room to improve, but each day I try to be a little better than I was the day before. I once heard a quote that went a little like this. " Our Heavenly Father doesn't expect Perfection, but he DOES expect Progression." I've also found that praying to my Heavenly Father really helps me to feel close to my Savior and allows me to access the enabling power of atonement. As well as I love to read out of the Book of Mormon.
